The Florida Baseball ARMory

Same Passion, Same Mission, Same Great Experience

Randy Sullivan and our amazing team started as The ARMory in strip mall, next to our physical therapy practice in Brandon, FL. We worked, we learned, and our players got better! Soon we outgrew our location and headed to Plant City, FL where we changed our name to The Florida Baseball Ranch. Expanding yet again we relocated to larger temporary facility in Lakeland, FL, until our newly completed permanent facility at 537 Laura Road, Lakeland, FL 33815.

Legions of players, teams and organizations from MLB, MiLB, NCAA and every level of amateur baseball were attracted to our process and saw unprecedented success. The heightened demand and our desire to further enhance our customer experience sparked the search for an even larger venue that featured expanded, throwing, hitting, strengthening and agility training areas as well as a world class multi-media production studio.

We are currently in the process of building our new state-of-the-art facility in Lakeland. As we begin construction, we are inspired to pay homage to those original students whose commitment, dedication and faith in us made the baseball world take notice and allowed us to emerge as world leaders in the player development profession. In tribute, we are nostalgically returning to “our roots” and incorporating our beloved ARMory name into our brand.

Welcome to The Florida Baseball ARMory.

Hello,
My name is Randy Sullivan.

I am a physical therapist, a baseball coach, and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. I’ve been working with baseball players to increase velocity & agility while eliminating arm pain for about 25 years now, first as the owner of the ARMory, then as the owner of the Florida Baseball Ranch and now we have moved back to our roots as the Florida Baseball ARMory.

Over the years I’ve learned a few things I’d like to share with you.

At the Florida Baseball ARMory, our ethos… our passion… our mission is to help every player get to a level of play at least one wrung above where you could have gotten if you had never met us. We will meet every player exactly where he is physically, mentally, and emotionally and do everything in our power to help him improve himself as ballplayer and a person. Whether you’re a youth player trying to make a travel team, or a professional player trying to ascend to MLB all-star or even Hall of Fame status, or anywhere in between, we believe that if we can help you get one level beyond. We accomplish that nearly every time. In fact, many of our students go even further. They explode to greater heights than anyone could have imagined.

When you look at our athletes, you would be hard pressed to see, on the surface, a common thread to their success. They come in all shapes and sizes and their backgrounds are as diverse as they can be. But, if you look a little closer… a little deeper — you have to look practically into their souls – there you’ll see it. It’s something special. It’s that little extra “it” – the thing that separates them from the rest. It’s hard to put your finger on it or to specifically describe it, but when you see it, you know it.

We call it “The Flame”…

And we see it in every single player that rises from the ashes of mediocrity and ascends like a phoenix to stratosphere of great achievement.

It’s a flame that burns deep in the boiler pit of their belly. It’s un-extinguishable fire that burns them to wake up every day and get after it. It’s a flame that rages even hotter in the face of adversity, naysayers, and failure.

Tell our guys they can’t do it. Go ahead…

Tell them they don’t have the genetics to achieve the highest level of success. Tell them there is a ceiling to their ability – that they can only expect to get so far in this game. Go ahead. Our athletes don’t hear you. If they see a ceiling, they simply add on a few more bricks of coal, throw in some kerosene, and burn the entire building to the ground.

This attitude means The Florida Baseball ARMory isn’t for everyone. I get that. And that’s ok.

The ARMory is for the those whose flame burns bright and fuels their passion, their commitment, and the relentless pursuit of excellence in everything they do.

If this is your athlete (or you), The Florida Baseball ARMory is ready for you.

Let’s get SAVAGE!!
